First Sweeney weekend in the can!

What a crazy week it’s been. I’ve been pulling 9 straight 16+ hour days as I work both at Full Sail and doing Sweeney Todd in Winter Garden at nights. While I’m stoked about the show, I’m also very happy to have 3 nights off.

I played at church on Sunday and felt relieved to be playing “just” drumset! Kit is so much simpler than playing the full on multi-percussion setup I have a Sweeney.  It was a nice change of pace, and I was able to put my brain on auto-pilot for a while.
